The Constitution Day of India was celebrated at the Chancery premises on the morning of 26 November 2021 at CGI Medan. The event was attended by around 50 Indian citizens living in Medan. Further several Indian citizens living in Sumatra joined the event on Facebook Live telecast of the event. The attendees (offline and online) recited the National Anthem at the beginning of the event. It was followed by a documentary on the Constitution. Consul General, Shri Shubham Singh greeted and addressed the Indian community. Thereafter, Preamble was read out in Hindi & English and the National Song was recited by all in the end. The event was telecasted live on CGI's Facebook Page and was also widely publicized on social media. The event was well received by one and all. The officials of the Consulate and CG read (online) the Preamble alongwith the President at 1100 hrs (IST).
